Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
- “Minibus” or “vehicle” – any vehicle provided for your journey.
- “Luggage” – all personal belongings brought onto the vehicle.
- “Journey” – travel between your collection point and destination.
- “We”, “us”, “our” – Delux Travels Airport Transfers Ltd.
- “You”, “your” – the person who made the booking, anyone travelling under that booking, or anyone for whom the booking was made.
We agree to transport you and your luggage according to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings
- All bookings are processed through Delux Travels Airport Transfers Ltd, whether made by phone, email, or online.
- Please provide accurate collection and return details. Incorrect or incomplete information may cause delays, for which we cannot accept responsibility.
3. Pick-Up & Collection
- Be ready at least 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
- Waiting time charges may apply.
- Routes may be adjusted to collect other passengers on time.
- Failure to be ready may result in cancellation or additional charges.
4. Return Journeys
- We rely on the return details you provide.
- Delays or missed collections due to incorrect information are your responsibility.
5. Children & Young Persons
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
- Please inform us in advance if you are travelling with infants or require child seats.
6. Luggage
- Each passenger may bring 1 medium/large suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage.
- Additional or special items (e.g., golf clubs, prams, folding wheelchairs, bicycles) must be declared at booking.
- Fragile items are carried at your own risk. Drivers may assist with luggage but are not required to handle excessively heavy items.
7. Prohibited Items
Without our permission, you must not bring:
- Weapons, illegal drugs, solvents, or hazardous materials
- Live or dead animals, fish, or insects
- Items over 25kg, perishable goods, or items with sharp/protruding edges
Prohibited items may be removed immediately. If in doubt, please confirm with us before travel.
8. Passenger Behaviour
Passengers must behave safely and respectfully. You must not:
- Be abusive, threatening, or disruptive
- Endanger others or damage property
- Obstruct the driver or ignore instructions
- Smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs (except prescribed medication)
- Bring hot food on board
- Play loud music or disturb others
- Block aisles or emergency exits
- Travel while seriously ill or contagious
We may refuse travel, remove passengers, or cancel a journey without refund if rules are broken.
9. Lost Property
- Notify the driver immediately if you find or leave an item on the vehicle.
- Lost items will be stored and returned on your next journey if possible.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled journey for a full/partial refund.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may not be refunded.
- Please contact us for booking amendments.
11. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
- We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or service failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, accidents, traffic, strikes, police actions, terrorism, vandalism, riots, mechanical breakdowns).
12. General Information
- Journeys may be carried out by authorised agents or subcontractors.
- No employee or representative can change these Terms and Conditions.
- These Terms are governed by UK law.
- Only you and Delux Travels Airport Transfers Ltd may enforce these Terms.
